Joanna Fortune: My teen has done their Leaving Cert but has no idea what they want to do in life now

My daughter sat the Leaving Cert in June and barely passed. She was more interested in chatting with her friends and fashion than studying. She has no idea what she wants to do with her life and turned down the opportunity to do a PLC course.

I've told her she has to find a job but she says it has to be the fashion industry or nothing. I've suggested a few local boutiques, but she says she is not into retail.
