Examiner Eats Club at Farmgate Café: Don't miss your seat at the table
We are thrilled to announce the summer return of Examiner Eats Club, our exclusive subscriber series, celebrating great food, unique venues, and the Irish Examiner food community.
The venue for this edition of Examiner Eats Club is the wonderful Farmgate Café in the English Market but this time with a difference, offering the opportunity to experience this beloved venue as never before. An integral part of Cork's culinary culture for over 30 years and treasured by generations of Corkonians, Irish Examiner subscribers will gain exclusive access to a unique evening dining event that only begins after the bustling daytime market has shut up shop for the night.
As dusk settles and the light fades from the soaring rafters above, diners will commence their evening with a welcome drink followed by five specially prepared courses of Farmgate fare at its very finest, from a menu created exclusively for this event, with the Irish Examiner food team – Jillian Bolger, Joe McNamee, and Leslie Williams – on hand to host this very special event.

The ticket price includes five courses and a welcome drink. Wines and other beverages will be available to purchase separately during dinner.

Terms & Conditions
The event is exclusive to Irish Examiner Subscribers. Tickets available on a first come, first serve basis. An additional €5.51 booking fee will be applied to the price of each ticket. Tickets limited to a maximum of 4 per subscriber. Vegetarian options are available by pre-booking only and can not be ordered on the night. Any serious food allergies must be flagged in advance when booking. Please ensure you complete your booking using an email address associated with a valid Irish Examiner subscription. The Irish Examiner reserves the right to rescind a reservation.
