A 68-year-old man from Cavan charged with having €23,000 worth of heroin at Kent train station in Cork last year confessed to the crime on Wednesday.

Detective Garda Jeremy Murphy served a book of evidence on John Boyle of 39 Barrack Hill, Belturbet, County Cavan, at Cork District Court last week.
