Man dies in house fire in Co Roscommon
The man's body has since been taken to University Hospital Galway for an autopsy.
A man has died following a house fire in Co Roscommon on Wednesday evening.
Gardaí and fire services attended the scene of the incident at around 7.15pm in Frenchpark.
The fire was then extinguished, and the body of a man was removed from the scene.
The man's body has since been taken to University Hospital Galway for an autopsy. The scene remains preserved for a technical examination.
"Enquiries are ongoing," a garda spokesperson said.
